The Voice of the Turtle Episode 57: Your first-place Tigers

What do Alex Avila and The Voice of the Turtle have in common? Both are back and firing on all cylinders after a brief hiatus! Yes, your favorite podcast is back on the air after some site hosting issues, and we are excited as ever to talk about the Tigers' hot start to the season. We wasted (almost) no time diving right into what has made the Tigers click -- and occasionally clunk -- in the first two weeks of the year.

But first, an update: the show will be a bit more compact than you are used to for a number of reasons (you'll have to listen to find out why!), so things won't go much longer than an hour in future shows.

Don't worry, though, we're still bringing the same hard-hitting analysis and not-so-hard-hitting humor you have come to expect. From what to do with Anibal Sanchez to why Joe Jimenez was optioned to whether Grand Rapids is truly Beer City, USA, this episode has it all!

Topics in this week's episode include:
- Anibal Sanchez's very bad start to the season
- Miguel Cabrera, Justin Upton, and a whole lot of walks
- All the JaCoby Jones love you need
- Brad Ausmus: not that bad?
- The Joe Jimenez decision and why it was weird
- Alex Wilson didn't really need that eye anyway
- Listener questions!
- Nate Silver is trying to make fetch happen
